mangino vs. burns. mangino offensive coor. for ou national champs. not the best coach in the world, but when compared to burns he is. mangino's troops are just a grade higher than tulsa, but rumor is this may be burn's last game if he looses. well should i say this is burn's last game. fact! I know several folks within and outside the program. you want to talk about turmoil. burn's troops have walked out on him early this week(not in the media). not alot of play on these kind of teams, and the line reflects game with ou (0-3 half time score). Read my past threads about tulsa (in each weeks picks). hope this can help. and have faith in the goblin.

you've been very solid this year. i coattailed your ore. st & aub picks and will ante up on rock chalk jayhawk (do they say that in football?) also, you nailed la tech over tulsa earlier this year. whats your take on la tech/a & m?

anything, but texas! lol. im a born and bred sooner. dont you just love this rivalry. there is no game in cball that can touch it. ill be down there soon. should be a great one this year. if mack gets his head out of his ass he could do some damage to us this year. i feel we are way overrated. anyway, lou tech & tx a m looks like a tough one to call. if it hits 13.5 i will play lou tech for sure. great # for this game as i feel with the a&m offense will kick a few. that is my first impression, but i need to check it out a little more before i make a decision. Is tx am quarter back ferris out? havent looked. other factors, lou tech must be worn thin playig this extraordinary road schedule. man. they got hammered by penn st. but i think towards the end they just gave up. was a good game until second half. interesting looking game look forward to capping it.

Being a Kansas fan (and alum) it has been disappointing to watch the Jayhawks so far this year. Went against them big time last week vs. Bowling Green which proved to be a wise choice. Don't see this line moving much and I agree Kansas is a good choice this week only needing to win by a little less than a TD. Coach Mangino is not happy with the boys after last weeks effort and should have them ready on Saturday. By the way we usually save the Rock Chalk Jayhawk chant for basketball. Good luck.

yes ku needs a win bad. this game looks great. man kansas has been terrible. but they have had some tough competition with young inexperienced guys. they should of learned alot in the beatings they have had. kansas will draw some blood and might enjoy beating somebody.

i posted last week late. couldnt get it out due to the problems. i know folks are serious about the honesty and accuracy of all records posted by cappers. wanted to point this out so there was no confusion. at first i said i wouldnt add any units for the late posts. but felt the time i invested on the picks should be reflected in my record. so if it is a problem you can back those games out of my total.

was quiet this week with the exception of this game. i really didnt like any games besides this one. next week looks great though. some great match-ups. the goblin wont let you down. i come across games like tulsa-kansas every great once in a while. 10unit plays are very,very rare. maybe 2 or 3 every year. killing the man this year. i will continue to give you my best picks and tell you the units to play. hope some of you fellow cappers cashed in on this thread.

How bout them Hawks. I know it was only Tulsa but a win is a win and the cover is big. Thanks to slvrgbln for the encouragement to take Kansas as I probably wouldn't have done it otherwise. Sometimes is hard to be objective about your team even if you think they will win and cover. Now they will probably go down to Baylor and get beat, but I will enjoy this one for now.
